I’m not normally one for petting wild animals (or any animals really for that matter, no pets in our house, thanks Dad) but these ones were fenced in so at least somewhat domesticated we figured. And once David tried to touch one and didn’t lose a hand, I gave it a shot as well. The were so sweet actually, jockeying like puppies for your hand on their nose, vying for the attention. Huddled together, stock still, with thick coats against the wind. It was pretty incredible.
